Feature

1. High-strength material, reinforced grid structure with cambered surface, and 4-bolt main bearing structure are adopted for the engine body; thus the engine body is characterized by high stiffness, slight vibration, and lower noise.
2. The crankshaft is made of high-quality alloy steel by using all fiber extrusion forging process, and the journal and circular bead are subject to quenching heat treatment for improving wear resistance and prolonging service life.
3. Electronic unit pump, four-valve structure, high-efficient turbocharged intercooled, and Yuchai combustor technologies are adopted for realizing low fuel consumption, less emission, outstanding speed governing performance, and fast and high-quality loading.
4. The structure of one head for one cylinder is adopted; maintenance window is set at the side of the engine body, which ensures easy maintenance.
5. The world-class equipment and technologies are used for production; thus, the quality of such model is stable and reliable.
6. In terms of product performance and emission, compliance with the requirements of G3 performance in GB2820 and the requirements of China III (T3) in GB 20891, respectively.

Casting ability

Yuchai owns the largest engine castings manufacturing base in Asia, with  a total investment more than RMB 1 billion. Yuchai adopts advanced casting equipment and process from Germany. It can manufacture 780,000 castings for engine body and 750,000 castings for cylinder head each year

Machining ability

Yuchai owns 25 processing lines of engine parts, which are used to process key engine parts such as cylinder block, cylinder head, crankshaft and camshaft. Yuchai can process 870,000 engine bodies and 900,000 cylinder heads each year
