Deodorization is to use the small molecular odour organic matter in the grease to volatilize more easily than glycyl at high temperature negative pressure. When the water vapor passes through the grease containing odour, the water vapor is saturated by the volatile odour component, and then escaped according to the partial pressure ratio, so as to achieve the purpose of removing the odor.
For batch type deodorization, generally reasonable steam injection volume is generally controlled at 5~8% of oil volume;The steam injection volume of plate deodorizer is 1.5%~3%of oil weight;The steam injection volume of packing deodorizer is 0.5%~1.5% of the oil weight.
Plate distilling tower
The plate tower consists of a cylindrical tower and a number of trays with horizontal devices at a certain distance. It is widely used in distillation and absorption, and some types (such as screen tray) are also used for extraction.
During operation (take air-liquid system as an example), under the action of gravity, the liquid flows through each layer of tray from top to bottom in turn, and the gas passes through each layer of tray in turn from bottom to top under the push of pressure difference, and then flows out from the top of the tower. A certain depth of liquid layer is maintained on each tray, and the air is dispersed into the liquid layer through the tray for interphase contact mass transfer.

Combine Distilling & Diaciding Tower
The combined tower integrates deodorization, fatty acid spray recovery and delayed thermal decolorization.
The high temperature hot oil first enters the packing section and contacts the bottom-up stripping steam with thin film countercurrent on the surface of the packing to remove free fatty acids, residual solvents and other low volatile components. Because the specific surface area of the structural packing is very large and its mass transfer is carried out in the state of thin film, the deodorization effect is very good, rapid and thorough.
The whole working process is divided into two stages:
one is the deodorization section, and the free fatty acids and odor components in the oil are removed by stirring steam under high temperature and high vacuum. Because the oil is about 10 μ m thick on the packing, the pressure drop of the oil droplets in the whole tower is only 200 pa, only about 50 kpa direct steam, and 5 min can change the content of free fatty acids in the decolorized oil from 0. About 3% fell to 0. 5%. The first stage of deodorization is 0. 2% or less, and the odor components from the decolorized oil are completely removed at the same time.
The second is to make the deodorized oil stay at high temperature and high vacuum for a period of time, so that the thermal pigment and peroxide can be completely decomposed to ensure the quality and stability of the oil. This stage, also known as the "decolorization stage", requires 30 min to completely decompose the thermal pigment and peroxide in the deodorized oil, because if the pigment decomposition of the oil is not completely affected the quality and stability of fine refining.

Deodorizer Pot
Used for intermittent deodorization of grease. It is suitable for deodorization treatment of small tonnage oil products, which should not exceed 30t / d. The pot body is a closed cylinder container with plate top cover and conical bottom. The pot is provided with a steam mixing device and a heating coil. In addition, there are direct steam inlet pipe, vacuum pipe, inlet and exit tubing, cooling pipe and so on.
