SEPPE White Fused Alumina (WFA) is obtained from the fusion of high purity calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces. WFA is raw material characterized with high hardness, yet friable with high purity, chemical stability, a high melting point, and large crystal size.

White Fused Alumina(WFA), also called White Fused Aluminium Oxide, named by its white color, belongs to the electro fused artificial corundum group.
It's an important mineral with chemical and high temperature stability, great purity, hardness and fireproof and refractory characters.

White Fused Alumina is used in many applications including grinding and cut off wheels, refractories and ceramic shapes, coated abrasives, investment casting shells, laminates, coatings, blasting abrasives, lapping and polishing, etc.
 

White fused alumina is one of the most widely used raw materials for so many industrial fields, including refractory, bonded abrasives and coated abrasives industries.
Due to its hardness (Mohs Hardness>9), White Fused Alumina is an ideal material for abrasive applications including sandblasting, grinding, polishing and coated products.
As the abrasive materials, it is suitable for grinding high-speed, high carbon steel, as loose grains, it widely used for bonded and coated abrasives, polishing, precision casting and so on.

White fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusiion of calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces. Comparing with brown fused alumina. It is also characterized by its high purity, acid and alkali resistance, good thermal stability. It's the high grade refractory materials.
White Fused Alumina is widely used in the refractory industry as it is a very pure, low iron, high alumina material suitable for a range of applications.Specific refractory applications include high tech refractory castables, isostatic pressed refractories and pre-cast refractory shapes.
