1. According to the use, it can be divided into carbon structural steel, carbon tool steel and free cutting structural steel.
Carbon structural steel: mainly used for ships, building components, bridges, machine parts, etc.
Carbon tool steel: mainly used for knives, molds, measuring tools, etc.
2. According to the mass percentage of carbon, it can be divided into low carbon steel (C:≤0.25%), medium carbon steel (C:0.25%≤C≤0.6%) and high carbon steel (C:>0.6%)
