Industrial Grade MonoPropylene Glycol is an important raw material for unsaturated polyesters, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins, plasticizers and surfactants. This unsaturated polyester is widely used in surface coatings and reinforced plastics.

 
Monopropylene Glycol in cosmetics is mainly used as a moisturizing agent, solvent and solubilizer in skin care products. 

Monopropylene Glycol is mainly prepared industrially by hydration of propylene oxide, or by hydrogenolysis of glycerol or bioengineering. It is a colorless, viscous and stable liquid with almost no odor. Mainly used in cosmetics, toothpaste and soap in combination with glycerin or sorbitol as a moisturizing agent, non-toxic.

Monopropylene Glycol is mainly prepared by acrolein hydrogenation and hydration in industry. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with salty taste and hygroscopicity under normal conditions, and it is almost non-toxic. It can also be used as a solvent and moisturizing agent in cosmetics.
