Three stage dry lime hydratorThe main body of the machine is constituted by three superimposed chambers, called "stages".
1st stage
In the first stage, the quicklime receives the hydration water, which is previously water line arranged from water station.
The mixture of prepared water and abated dust is collected in the bottom of the filter to hydrator, and water is transferred to the feeding mouth of the machine.
The prepared water is involved the hydration reaction, throughout 1st stage, thanks to the strong mixing of the shaft provided with steel paddles.
2nd stage
The lime at the end of the first stage falls into the 2nd stage where the hydration reaction is completed. During the transformation of oxide into hydrate, the apparent specific weight of material is reduced to an half. For this reason, the 2nd stage volume is twice as much as that of the 1st stage. Two paddle agitators mix the material, favoring the completion of reaction, and transport it up to the following stage.
3rd stage
The reaction is completed for most of the material, which is then homogenized in the third stage.
This chamber is provided with two paddle agitators to mix and there is an adjustable weir that allows the material level in this stage to be adjusted according to the characteristics of the used quicklime. The overburnt material, with a slower reaction speed and a higher specific weight, will have a tendency to fall down in the bottom of the chamber and its retention time will be higher allowing a higher degree of completion of the hydration process before the material leaves the hydrator.1. It will control the reaction time and fully hydrate the CaO by only 15-20 minutes.
Hydrator has good heat-insulating property. The unique design makes a lot of heat generated in the reaction of CaO to be converted inside and reused. It will raise the inner temperature to 60 degrees by only 3-5 minutes and make the CaO to be fully hydrated.
Feeding process control: Sending the needed materials into the first-stage reaction cabin through the screw feeder.
Advantages: There are lots of hot steam and dust when CaO contact with water. This feeding way will provent them flowing back the screw feeding counter, so that will not affect the accuracy of sensor.Three-stage hydrate reaction with water distribution
The hierarchical & scientific distribution of water can make the CaO to be fully pre-hydrated. Afer contacting with reasonable water in the first stage reaction cabin, then enter into the second one. This process is the best reaction time of CaO. When entering into the third one, hydrated CaO is semi-dry state. The whole three stages finally make the CaO completely become the fluffy powder. And the entire reaction process needs about 15-20 minutes.3.
