Product Introduction

 Megajet high pressure cleaning machine is water as the working medium, usually, the power drive pump through the water to complete a suction, discharge process, the ordinary water into high low flow rate of water, and then transported to the high pressure pipeline, so that it with a certain amount of energy to reach the high pressure nozzle. The aperture of the high pressure nozzle is much smaller than the diameter of the high pressure pipeline, so the water reaching the high pressure nozzle must be accelerated to pass through the nozzle. In this way, the nozzle can convert water at a high and low velocity into a low pressure and high velocity jet. The ejected high-pressure water jet tangentially or positively impacts the surface of the cleaned object, and constantly shocks the cleaned surface, making the dirt fall off. Therefore, the use of a high-pressure cleaning machine is a physical cleaning method.



DESCRIPTIONS


The high pressure pump is divided into two main components: hydraulic end and power end.


The pump head is also known as the "hydraulic end" of the pump. The pump head includes the plunger, packing function, combination valve, high and low pressure seal, valve block, and other parts in contact with the water flow in the pump
The power end, sometimes called the "crankshaft end", includes the crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead, crankcase, and other components necessary to convert the input power rotational movement of the equipment engine or motor drive into reciprocating motion to drive the pump head plunger. The pump head has three (maximum) pressures; 15,000 psi (1,035 bar), 20,000 psi (1,380 bar), and 40,000 psi (2,760 bar).

* Power end maintenance of the pump

The rotation of the crankshaft must be able to move the top of the crankshaft toward the pump head. If the crankshaft is rotated rotated,the power end is not properly lubricated and will fail when the pump is insufficient.


* Speed and temperature

The rotation speed range of the power end is 250-600 rpm for 3000 series, 250525 rpm for 3600 series and 250500 rpm for 4200 series. Operating a high pressure pump beyond the speed limit causes insufficient lubrication or overheating and a power end failure. Do not operate a crankcase oil temperature below 60° F (32°C) or over 180° F (82°C). Before using the high pressure pump, if the oil temperature is lower than 60° F (32°C), run the high pressure pump to warm the oil. It is recommended to use high quality 80w-90 gear oil for all 3000,3600 and 4200 series power ends. The crankshaft oil capacity for the 3000 series is 5 gallons (18.9 liters) and the 3600 and 4200 series are 9 gallons (34.1 liters). When the high pressure pump operates, keep the crankcase oil level at the "full scale" line of the oil level gauge (top of the meter). The normal operating oil level is 3 inches below the midline of the crankshaft.


* Oil changing schedule

Replace crankcase oil for the first time after 100 hours. Remove the rear cover of the crankcase and clean the bottom of the crankcase during the oil change. The oil will then be changed every six months or 500 working hours, whichever expires first. If the high pressure pump is operated under dusty conditions, or the oil is contaminated by water infiltration into the crankcase of the power end, the oil change frequency should be increased. If it becomes "milk-shaped" due to water pollution, it needs to change the oil immediately. The lubricating oil emulsified by water will thicken, and its viscosity is too high and not easy to flow, unable to provide proper lubrication for the power end.
