Geotextile have many applications which can increase soil stability in provider rows and control as well as aid and drainage. There are two main types of geotextiles that each support different applications which are woven and non-woven geotextiles. The key difference between two types is the way geotextile was threaded or manufactured as well as specific applications it's going to be used for.
