Product Description

Bimatoprost is a synthetic prostamide F2α derivative, which can selectively simulate the action of prostamine produced in vivo, increase the production rate of aqueous humor and reduce the outflow resistance of aqueous humor. Reducing intraocular pressure (IOP) by increasing the atrial Chemicalbook flow out of the trabecular network channel and the uveo-scleral channel is considered to be the most effective local antiglaucoma drug for reducing intraocular pressure. It is indicated for the treatment of open Angle glaucoma (POAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT) patients who have failed to respond to other antihypertensive agents.
Bimaprost is a prostaglandin drug that was first used to treat eye conditions such as glaucoma under the drug name Lumigan. However, during the treatment, patients were surprised to see a significant increase in the diameter, length and density of their eyelashes. Bimaprost Chemicalbook was then used in clinical trials for eyelash beauty. Its huge effect on the thickening and densification of eyelashes led Allergan, the manufacturer of Lumergan, to launch Lattise, which was approved by the US FDA in December 2008 and became a professional product for darkening and thickening eyelashes.
