      IPv6 support on the Cisco Silicon One Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)^*, providing wire-rate forwarding for IPv6 networks.

      Advanced Encryption Standard 256 (AES-256) support with the powerful MACsec and WAN MACsec encryption algorithm².

^*Cisco Silicon One ASIC is part of the Cisco Catalyst 9600 Series Supervisor Engine 2.

² WAN MACsec is supported only on C9600X-SUP-2 and HSEC license required.
