Silicone adhesives are mainly silicone rubber adhesives, and their components include organosilane or silicone rubber, fillers, tackifiers, curing agents, catalysts, etc.
Introduction of silicone adhesive ingredients:
1. Main material. Provides heat resistance, adhesion, and curable properties such as organosilanes, methyl silicone rubbers, and more.
2. Filling. Used to improve silicone adhesion, heat resistance and reinforcement. Typically, those with larger surface areas are used, such as fumed silica (white carbon black), diatomaceous earth, titanium dioxide and carbon black.
3. Tackifier. Surface treatment for white carbon black. It is added to silicone adhesives along with silica to help improve adhesion properties. Commonly used tackifiers are organosilanes, siloxanes and silicone resins.
4. Curing agent. Peroxides such as dioctyl phthalate and ammonium carbonate are mainly used.
5. Catalyst. When vulcanizing and crosslinking hydroxyl-containing silicone rubbers at room temperature, catalysts such as dibutyltin and tin laurate must be added.
