Organic fertilizer production line is a complete set of equipment from raw materials collection to the organic fertilizer granules packing.
1) Organic materials fermentation process:
It plays the preliminary but indispensable role in the whole production line.
Two main types of compost turners are widely used to turn and mix the compost and accelerate the fermentation speed, Self-propelled compost turner and hydraulic compost turner.
2) Crushing Process:
The compost lump materials should be crushed before the granulating process. But we can leave out crushing process when the compost material is fine enough. Vertical chain crusher and double-shaft horizontal crusher, two types of crushing machine can be used to crush lump compost raw materials.
3) Mixing Process:
Two types of mixing machine are applied to mix raw materials in the fertilizer production line: Horizontal fertilizer mixing machine and Vertical fertilizer mixing machine.
4) Granulating Process:
Granulating process is the core part in this production line, so we choose the suitable model of fertilizer granulator according to customers detailed requirements. Disc granulator machine, Drum granulator machine , Shifts granulator, flat die granulator, or ring die granulator in the market . As usual , ring die granulator can be chosen to granulate the materials evenly with the highest production rate and nice final granules shape.
5) Drying Process:
When granulating, the moisture of fertilizer raw materials should be 30-35 %, and moisture will reduce about 3-5%, so the final moisture is still more than 25% after granulation process. We should dry the raw materials if the moisture is more than 25%. Rotary drum drying machine is mainly used for drying the organic fertilizer granules with a certain degree of humidity and particle size.
6) Rotary Drum Cooling Machine:
The granules will take higher temperatures & humidity. The rotary drum cooling machine is used for cooling fertilizer to a normal temperature as well as make fertilizer particles stronger.
7) Rotary Drum Screening Machine:
It is used to separate the granules from the large or small particles which need to be returned for the second crushing and granulating.
8) A rotary drum coating machine is used to coat the fertilizer with wax and prevent the fertilizer from sticking together.
9) The last process is the packaging process: Fertilizer packaging machine can package bags quantitatively and automatically. We also need some auxiliary equipment for connection such as belt conveyor, bucket elevator, etc.
1, Semi-wet crusher (Double-shaft horizontal crusher,)
Semi-wet Crusher is a special equipment for crushing the materials with humidity and Multi-fibrous materials.
It adopts high-speed rotating blades to ensure the feed materials nice granularity and high efficiency. Semi-wet material crusher is widely used in the organic fertilizer producing process and it performs well in crushing chicken / cow / pig manure compost and other Semi-wet organic materials with moisture less than 20%.
1,It can also adjust crushing grain size within a certain range according to the needs of users; Crushing grain size can meet the requirements of granulation processing;
2. It plays a grinding role in municipal solid wastes organic fertilizer, i.e. glass, ceramic, bricks and macadam, etc. to achieve the effect of using security;
3. It contains two layers crushing systems which crush the materials finely enough and obtain the optimum efficiency.
4. It has no screen and sieve so as to crush materials without blocking. To safeguard the normal operation of machinery and ensure the continuity of the production.
5. It adopts high-alloy hard-wearing hammers. The hammer slices are forged to make sure that they are strong and hard-wearing enough to prolong service life.
6. It is two-way clearance adjusting design. It means that when the hammer slices are worn out, we can continue to use them by moving their position without any repair. The granularity of the material can be controlled by adjusting the clearance of the hammer and the liner plate.

2,Semi-wet crusher (Vertical chain crusher )
The semi-wet crusher ( Vertical type ) has the same function with horizontal type semi-wet crusher.
Materials fall into the high-speed rotation impeller from the above of machine, and under the impact of high-speed centrifugal force,they have a high-speed impact with another umbrella form materials, which flow around the impeller, after attacking of them, materials are discharged from the bottom. It forms closed-circuit and does many circulations, it can achieve the required product size by screening equipment controlling.
The vertical type semi-wet crusher normally used after the mixer machine , which can crush the big block formed during mixture processing or crush the cycled defective granules .

3,Shift(s) Mixer ( Horizontal fertilizer mixing)
The raw materials for fertilizer granulation should be mixed evenly after batching according to the formula, so raw material mixer equipment is an essential component in the production of organic fertilizer. As usual, the single shaft horizontal mixer used for compound fertilizer (organic materials add chemical / mineral raw materials), and double shaft mixer used for organic raw materials.
Mixer is mainly used to humidify and mix powdery materials in the fertilizer industry. The machine uses shaft(s ) with spiral blades mounted to mix the materials. As the spiral blades have multiple angles, raw materials can be mixed quickly and effectively, regardless of their shape, size and density. The shifts mixer ( blender ) is also suitable for mixing viscous material with about 20%-40% moisture content.

4,Disk Mixer ( Vertical fertilizer mixing machine)
Disk Mixer has the same function with shifts mixer, which used for organic / mineral materials to add water to increase moisture or make more than two kinds of raw materials mixing evenly before granulation processing.
The disadvantage of disk mixer is discontinuity working , will need to open & close the outlet device for discharging . But the operator can control the processing of mixture depending on the mixing situation .

5,Belt Conveyors
Belt conveyor is the necessity to fertilizer production lines, especially to connect production machines to each others. Belt conveyor is to convey powder, particles, at the same time, the temperature of conveying materials should be below 60ºC.
The belt fertilizer conveyor is a high-efficiency and easy-operation material transporting machine. The organic & compound fertilizer conveyor can convey not only detrital materials, such as fertilizer, pellets etc., but also packed products. Belt conveyor is widely used in fertilizer, metallurgy, coal, transportation, water and electricity, and chemical industry, etc. In the whole organic or organic & compound fertilizer production line, the high-efficiency fertilizer conveyor conveys the material from the original material feeding point to the final packaging point, which realizes the continuously uninterrupted transport and ensures the normal operation of the whole line. This organic & compound fertilizer machine saves the labor and energy, being the optimal transport equipment.

4,Rotary Drum Dryer
Rotary Drum Dryer adopts a slightly tilted drum which can be rotated. The wet materials are sent to hopper of rotary drum by belt conveyor or bucket elevator from the higher side. Well-dried materials are collected from the other lower side, and then hot air enters the drum from the feeding side to the discharging side.
Burning the coal / gas /oil in the Combustion Chamber (Boiler), with making the dry hot wind . The dry hot wind goes though the chamber of rotary drum dryer under the action of the induced fan . The combustion chamber (boiler) will need to built by the buyer .
Boiler supply hot air , and then hot sir enters the drum from the feeding side . The wet powder/granules are sent to the hopper of a rotary drum by belt conveyor from the higher side. Lifting impeller towards the wet powder/ granules into the discharge side. The powder/ granules heat exchange with the hot wind when powder/ granules moving towards, with water vapor into cyclone dust catcher affected by an induced fan . Well-dried granules are collected from the other lower side.

6,Rotary Drum Cooler
Rotary Drum Cooler adopts the heating exchange method to cool materials. It is equipped with welded steel spiral scraping wings in front of the tube, lifting board at the end of the rotary body, and auxiliary piping system in the feed end of the cooling machine. The belt and pulley are driven by the main motor and through the reducer, the drive shaft is put in motion.
The rotary cooler is used for cooling fertilizer with certain temperature and particle size in fertilizer industry.
The rotary cooler has been an essential and indispensable part of the whole fertilizer processing. It consists of drum body, spiral plate, lifting board, hopper, cyclone dust catcher and cooling pipe system. The rotary cooler machine can combine with the rotary drum dryer to remove the dust and clean the exhaust together, which can improve the cooling efficiency and the rate of thermal energy utilization, reduce labor intensity, and further remove the moisture of the fertilizer. Generally, the inlet temperature of materials is 60°-80°, while the outlet temperature is less than 30°. Besides, the fertilizer cooling machine manufactured by us can also be used to cool other powder and granules materials.
This rotary cooler machine uses high-quality anti-corrosion and wear-resistant materials which greatly improve the service life of the machine.

Grading machine is a common equipment in organic fertilizer production processing , mainly used for separating the returned materials ( fine and oversize products ) and finished product (qualified products), also realize the classification of the end products.
After the fertilizer granules go into the drum, it is screened by the rotating of the drum, and on the other hand, granules with large size move forward along the drums gradient, screened gradually through different screening mesh.
This Grading machine adopts the integrated screen mesh which is easy for repair and replacement. This machine is easy to operate and works stable.
